Description

Sector par excellence of the Catalan Pyrenees when it comes to snow, ice and mixed terrain gullies.

There we find all sorts of itineraries of all difficulties, even though, unlike Pedraforca, the approaches and descents are very long, which makes these routes a more complete activity as well as demanding.

SECTOR PRAT D’AGUILÓ

Corredor Mendizale  450m 80º / M4+

With no doubt, this is one of the most interesting corridors of this sector, for it’s rational route and the presence of icy and mixed sections, connected to each other by snowy slopes.

SECTOR PRAT DE CADÍ

Costa Cabirolera 2.605 m.

Canal de l’àliga  450m 80º

Provably one of the most spectacular Couloirs on the central sector of Cadí, and with no doubt, one of the most appealing routes due to its environment.

Roca Punxeguda 2.405m

Goullotte Teixonera  350m 80º / M5

Great alpine climb. Highly recommended mixed climb of high difficulty! Essential!

Pic de la canal del Cristall 2.586m

Canal del Cristall  400m 50º

It’s the natural pass of the range and provably the busiest one since immemorial times.

Ideal to discover the North Face of Cadí!

Canal de l’Ordiguer 450m  55º possible mixt

One of the most known and famous gullies of the Pre-Pyrenees.

Great environment along the whole route, which is straight and direct!

Puig de Quer   2.571m

Canal sàbat  350m  60º

Without a doubt, one of the most esthetic itineraries of the Massif. Medium difficulty.

It is perfect to enjoy the place without many difficulties.

Canal dels troncs  400m  60º V+

Really interesting gully. The difficulties of the mixed terrain concentrate at the bottom of the itinerary, which we will climb pass it during the two first and intense pitches.

Great alpine environment during the whole climb!
