Description

Traverse along one of the most spectacular alpine section of the Alps where exist a lot of possibilities to summit peaks over 4.000m every day. And the views are not to forget, they are spectacular!

Glacier terrain, authentic refuges, great elevation gain and alpine environment.

Undoubtedly, a must-do itinerary within the wide range of possibilities that alpinism offers.


Schedule

Day 1: Meeting in Chamonix and gear check.

Day 2: Leave from Cervinia or Zermatt depending on the trip – Trockener Stegg cable car – Theodul hut (3.327 m)

Day 3: Theodul hut – Summit of Breithorn (4.161 m) over the south-east face – Val d’Ayas hut (3.420 m)

Day 4: Val d’Ayas hut – Summit of Pollux (4.091 m) – Summit of Castor (4.322 m) – Quintino Sella hut (3.585 m)

Day 5: Quintino Sella hut – Ascend to Naso del Lyskam – Coro Nero (4.322 m) – Piramida Vincent (4.215 m) – Monte Rosa hut (2.795 m)

Day 6: Monte Rosa hut– Ascend to Dufourspitze (Monte Rosa) (4.634 m) – Descend to Monte Rosa again.

Day 7: Monte Rosa hut – Descend to Zermatt – Back to Chamonix
